Langley BC chiropractors, Dr. James Rice and Dr. Erin Rice welcome you to Rice Family Chiropractic. Our community-focused chiropractic clinic is located in Langley and serves the surrounding area including Walnut Grove, Fort Langley, Surrey, Cloverdale and Aldergrove. We are passionate about good health and provide care for the whole family from infancy through adulthood.

Our belief in Chiropractic is that we heal from within. What we do as chiropractors is look at your bio-mechanical system – specifically the spine and then optimizing how it works, so that the nervous system and the whole body works as well as possible.
Our focus is the entire family. Erin’s focus is women and children, especially making sure that we have checks done from infants all the way through all the growing stages of childhood. We like to ensure that the entire family is getting wellness care.

We have three kids ourselves and we started chiropractic care on our children right from the beginning—the first day that they were born. We did spinal analysis and adjusted them right away. We encourage our patients to bring their children with them to their chiropractic appointments.

We think it’s important that we, ourselves, are all under chiropractic care. We adjust each other regularly!

Our friendly, family-oriented clinic is equipped with a computerized Gait scanner. We take a holistic approach to your health and provide services like prescription orthotics and lifestyle advice including nutrition and exercise, all focused on achieving your optimum well being.

Our clinic welcomes families with children and we encourage you to bring your children with you to your visits.

Kinesiology can help reduce pain and help your body recover from injuries, this therapy uses muscle monitoring, acupressure points and body palpitations to determine where there are imbalances in the body. Methods to rebalance the body can be indicated through seeing one of our kinesiologist here at Rice Family, we believe that movement is medicine and that embracing a one-step-at-a-time approach and cultivating healthy, long-lasting habits is the key to enriching one’s overall health and well-being.

I grew up in the lower mainland and spent the first handful of years post high school working in the non-profit sector. Needing a change of pace, I started looking for something that I could do that was flexible for my young family and still allowed me to serve the people around me well. I love the opportunity that massage gives me to help care for people in the moment, right where they’re at. Having struggled with my own health through the years, and having found great success with alternative therapies, I decided to turn my attention towards holistic healing. This led me to the RMT program at CDI and provincial board exams, which I successfully completed before finding my role as an RMT here at Rice Family Chiro.

In my time treating patients I have accrued hundreds of hours of practice in various manual techniques and I’ve had the joy of working with a wide range of patients with many differing conditions. Some of the cases that interest me the most include pre/post-natal care, labour massage, scar work, lymphatic drainage, autoimmune care, sports massage, and women’s health care. I am excited about the effect that manual therapy can have for my patients and their quality of life.

I am passionate about seeing people thrive in their health, being proactive with how we take care of ourselves, and pursuing things that bring us life. In my downtime, I love spending time being active with my loved ones, going to concerts, traveling the world, eating fantastic food, paddleboarding, and taking advantage of all the adventures that our beautiful area has to offer.

Kylee grew up in the Okanagan and has an Associate of Arts degree from Okanagan College and is two courses shy of her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in psychology from UBC Okanagan campus. After taking some time away from her studies in 2015 to help a family member heal from a traumatic past on Vancouver Island, Kylee had a baby girl in November of 2017. When her daughter was two, Kylee moved back to her place of birth, the lower mainland, and started thinking about possible career choices for the future to support her family. This is when an idea from her teens came to the forefront: massage therapy. When Kylee was 14 her mother suffered a severe spinal injury which resulted in two surgeries. After this, massage was one of the only things to help with the pain so Kylee learned early on how effective and therapeutic massage can be. Nothing can compare to the feeling of helping another person on their healing journey. After careful consideration, Kylee applied for the massage therapy program at WCCMT New Westminster campus and started school during the spring term in May 2021. Kylee graduated from WCCMT in December 2022.

Kylee enjoys spending time with her family, which includes; her 5-year-old daughter, mother, brother, and two kitties. In whatever spare time she has left she enjoys spending time with friends, reading fantasy novels such as Robert Jordans’ Wheel of Time series, and playing Nintendo Switch games. Kylee also enjoys marathoning shows (often the same ones repeatedly) on Netflix whenever she can find the time. Kylee is enthusiastic about eating cake and other baked goods but attempts to balance this with at-home work outs when she can. Kylee is passionate about her studies and looks forward to completing the last couple courses of her bachelor degree now that she has finished her massage therapy program. Kylee is eager to start a fulfilling and exciting career helping patients reach their healing goals and attain their optimal physical health and happiness.

Growing up, Emma danced competitively, and the field of exercise rehabilitation never crossed her mind until she found herself injured and itching to get back to dance. Through rehabbing multiple injuries over the years, she found a love for the field of Kinesiology.
